A single word with a thousand meaning,

A word that brings such calmness,balance and peace to one’s tussle in life 

A word that gives you something positive to look forward to 

A word that gives strength to keep on striving for greatness 

A word with so much in-depth meaning and can be in any form you choose it to be

A word for everyone (Man,Woman,Old and Young)

A world so fulfilling and precise 

A word that makes us feel bad times doesn’t last forever(Good times does)

So whenever you find “HOPE” in whatsoever situation you find yourself?, just hold on to it 

Might be your only saving Grace.

 Oblivion How often do you dream? Funmbi was a dreamer, she has a perfect picture of how she wants her life to be all in her head, you could say she was a perfectionist or a perfectly driven person....well, it's easier for her being born into wealth but still she wanted more and strive harder to get the best of everything, clothes, cars, shoes, bags, food, skin, house and even her man. Everything had to be perfect. Tolani on the other hand just wanted something simple, not that she wouldn't prefer an extravagant lifestyle but she knows she couldn't afford it, between her mom's hospital bills to college funds for her two siblings, house rent,utility bills and all..... even the three hundred thousand naira she earns monthly barely covers it all, so she settles for reality. Lost cause

  It’s so funny how we miss what we never had, how we longer and thirst for what isn’t ours. How we blindly pray for the type of lifestyle that isn’t meant for us, We get into relationships/situationships fully aware of what the outcome would be but we hang on to that little hope of what if it actually works out and when it doesn’t (as expected) it hurts like you never saw it coming,  You are never fully prepared for failure, but yet you keep trying,  I keep praying that whatever/whoever isn’t meant to be in my life should be removed no matter how aggressively I hold on it/them, I can’t go through all this and settle for less so for now I rest, so I can redirect my thoughts and change direction, have given it my best. Tired of fighting for a lost cause.
