Part 1

Tania woke up to a kiss on the forehead and smell of coffee, it felt like a dream to her....who would have thought a one night stand could turn to this.

She didn't even know his real name and neither did he know hers, she made it that way in other not to get involved or carried away, "no strings attached" was what they agreed on.

So what's all this one for now...she thought for a second

Well, it's nice to be treated this way for the very first time and smiled at him taking a cup of

coffee in her hand

The sex between them was so good that they couldn't resist the urge to come back for more..

Time flies when you are having a good time she said to her mystery man as she got up to take a shower and get dressed.

Can we do this another time? He asked Tania as she was about to leave

I think we've done this so many times enough for a one night stand with no strings attached kinda deal she replied laughing

Yes but I enjoyed every bit of it, why don't you want us to get to know eachother or go out on a real date, I really do like you and I think you feel the same about me so what's the problem? He said

I told you initially, I don't do relationships...it doesn't end well for me ok? I'll call you when I need you she said as she walked out into the street, it was drizzling but she didn't mind, she needed to get away from him as fast as possible.

Part 2

Days turned to weeks as Tania went about her daily routine leaving her mystery man out of it,she sometimes think of him mostly at night but she felt its better to let bygones be bygones.

After so many failed relationship she began to think something was wrong with her, it all starts well in the beginning but never lasts so she focused her attention and effort more on her thriving career and enjoys occasional sex from good looking strangers.

She got a call from him one sunny afternoon saying that he was going to be out of town for a while and needed to see her even if it's just to say goodbye he said "but we all know that's not where it's going to end", she couldn't say no so she agreed.

I look overdressed for just a casual outing she thought to herself as she got down from the cab in front of their meeting place, she was putting on a long red dress with a slit in front so high that it revealed most of her thighs, she was nervous and considered going back to change for a second.

               

You look so beautiful he said after gawking at her for few seconds, thanks she replied under her breath.

I already ordered for you, I hope you don't mind? Not at all .....it's fine, when do you leave? she asked My flight is by 8am tomorrow morning

Didn't realise it was this close

It was a last minute decision plus you haven't been picking up my calls or replying my texts Yes I know, been so busy at work

"The night spent with him happened to be the best she has ever had with anyone before and he was gone before dawn, she woke up to an empty bed....

Part 3

Do you know how you try not to think about something or someone but that's all you think of?

That's what Tania was going through since she saw him last,was this love or lust? She thought to herself

She even tried to get laid with someone else but just couldn't go through with it, the angel in her has returned and she felt sorry for herself, the last time she felt this way didn't end well for her

It was so obvious something was wrong and it even affected her work so she decided to take time off

Her mother's birthday was coming up the following weeks so she and her siblings decided to throw her a surprise birthday

Everything was set and the day came, she saw people she hasn't seen in years

Then there he was, her mystery man.....what's going on she thought, he must have been shocked to see her too that he just stared confused as she was

I see you've met Michael said her mother bringing her back to reality Who's Michael?

Your step uncle's son in London, when you decided to distant yourself from family so how would you know said her mother

What! So he's my step cousin? Oh my God!!, she felt weak in the knees and turned to leave, she didn't know where she was going but she needed to catch her breath

Tania!! Tania!!!

She heard someone call her name but she didn't stop, she couldn't stop so she ran

And he ran after her

Wait he said when he caught up with her, we need to talk

Are you kidding me right now? Do I look like a joke to you? Did you know who I was?

No not at all, I'm just as surprised as you are and my dad forced me to be here to meet more families, I never knew I'd meet you here

So you mean to tell me you just found out who I am just now? She asked with a fake laugh

Yes i just did , how else was I going to find out who you are when I didn't even know your name or anything else about you?

This is so bad, so I've been sleeping with my cousin all this while? Step cousin he corrected her

Does it matter?

Actually it does and there's more

You know what, I don't even want to know....I cant be here anymore she said reaching for her car keys ,it's bad enough we've had sex and now I'm in love with you she blurted out in tears.

Conclusion

What!! You are in love with me?

Yea,I'm sure you are so proud of yourself right now she replied sarcastically

I'm in love with you too, I planned on telling you

Oh really...that's good to know she replied finding her keys and opening her car door

Will you just calm down and listen he snapped without intending to, I'm sorry for raising my voice at you but I'm just as surprised as you are but we can make it work, he paused to see her reaction

Go on was all she said

The thing is, I've been sick and I need a bone marrow transplant but sadly my parent's own didn't match at all

Are you serious? How come ? Why? Since when? She asked suddenly scared and concerned

That was the reason I had to travel out of the country for the result and surgery but I received the bad news

I'm so sorry she said holding his hands, I didn't know but why didn't your parent's own match? That's because I also just found out that I was adopted at the age of 1

What!!! Oh my God, I'm so sorry to hear that, this must be very hard for you she said sadly in tears

Yes it is and I'm still trying to make sense of it all but all that makes sense to me right now is how I feel about you,I'm so in love with you that I'd gladly spend the time I have left with you every second he said

Don't say that she replied touching his face, nothing will happen to you, we will find a solution okay?

It's too late, my time is running out

Stop saying that she said hugging him while crying

He hugged her back tightly for a while then said, let's get out of here taking her hands in his and leading her to the other side of the car

They drove in silence until they got to their meeting place

She couldn't believe this was happening to her, after everything she's been through and after thinking she'd never find true love but just when she did there had to be something wrong

Come here he said to her with arms wide open

We can fix this she said looking him in the eyes, I'm here for you Michael Yes I know and that's all I need right now....just you
